House Rules

HOA Rules
-Quiet time is 10PM to 8AM
-Exterior lights have to be off by 1AM or we'll get fined
-Must pick up after pets-There will be an additional $50 charge if we find dog waste in the yard after your stay.

There is no smoking or vaping of any kind in the home, or on decks/patios of the home. There will be a $150 fine + any extra cleaning fees if we find any evidence of smoking in the home, or cigarette butts on the property.

The space
The Hangout is newly REMODELED in winter 2022. It is conveniently located near the Owners' Club and across from the East Golf Course. It's a 15 minute drive to downtown Galena, and a 25 minute drive to Chestnut Mountain Ski Resort. This is a great place to come and hangout with friends and family to relax for a long weekend & to leave everything else behind.

The Hangout has space for everyone, an upstairs and downstairs living room, a custom bar area, pool table, 85 in screen tv to watch your favorite sports team, and a massive dining room that seats 10-12 people. Outside spaces include a 6 seat hot tub, a deck and a downstairs patio. Both floors have an open concept and plenty of space. The Hangout offers a fully stocked kitchen, and a coffee bar for every coffee lover's dream.

Downstairs you’ll find almost an entirely different house with a custom bar and kitchenette area, living room with a large TV + 3 smaller tvs, including a pool table.

3 bedrooms have a large king sized beds, 1 bedroom has a Queen size bed, and 1 bedroom has full size bunk beds. The home also has 3 full size bathrooms.

The house is stocked with entertainment options like board games, cards, pool table, books, kids toys and more. To accommodate young families we also provide 1 pack-in-play and one high chair.

We are pet friendly as well and provide a blanket for dogs, dog waste bags to pick up after your dog, and water and food dishes. ($30 per night per pet)

End the day with a relaxing soak in your massive 6 seat hot tub on the back deck with a beautiful view of the golf course.

We’ve spared no cost when it comes to Wi-Fi speeds. We know how important it is to ensure all guests can have access to the internet without bogging down. We also provide a dedicated work space, for those who need to work remotely while visiting Galena.

The house has a massive front & back yard for guests (and their pets) have space to enjoy fires, bbqs, or yard games-which we provide!

The Hangout offers 8 Proximity Cards for guests' use of the Galena Territory Association facilities. Additional day passes can be purchased for $5 per day at the Owners Club Complex. Amenities include indoor/outdoor pools, indoor basketball court, tennis courts, fitness center, game room, craft room, meeting rooms, and an outdoor basketball court.
(Note: the the living room fireplace is not working, functional fireplace)

The Territory also offers over 24 miles of walking and hiking trails that go right by the property as well as four golf courses. In addition the territories offer outstanding boating and fishing opportunities at Lake Galena and horseback riding at the Shenandoah Riding Center.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire home except 2 locked closets we store supplies in.

There's a guidebook full of recommendations in a pdf sent to you, and a binder at the house.

For the safety of guests & owners, this house has a Ring Doorbell Security Cameras with audio. Camera is located at the front door of the home, where guests check in.
